The Marco Polo

In the Finest Tradition of Cruising

If you'd rather listen to the sardonic lyrics of Noel Coward than the latest disco beat... if the Monte Carlo casino is more your style than Vegas... if you'd rather be up at dawn whale-watching than asleep in your cabin at noon, then the Marco Polo is the right choice for you. Classically elegant, but far from stuffy or formal, the Marco Polo has been designed to offer the sophisticated traveler every comfort at sea.

Like the grand liners of yesteryear, she has gracious public rooms with distinctive Art Deco touches and intimate corners for quite moments of relaxation. And although you won't find neon lights or hear slot machine bells (our machines pay out quietly), the Marco Polo offers all the modern conveniences of a first-class cruise ship.

During days at sea, you'll enjoy her broad, sweeping decks, swimming pools and outdoor Jacuzzis. You might saunter over to the well-stocked library or choose some reading material, or schedule a massage in the Health Club and Beauty Center, fully equipped with exercise equipment, an aerobics studio and saunas. You can attend an informative lecture on an upcoming port of call, or choose to watch it later on television in your cabin. Be as active or as lazy as you wish: there's a full program of activities to choose from, and room to do nothing at all.

More information is available on the ship's restaurants and lounges.
