Lady Philippa Scott is honorary director of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in England, having been invited to succeed her husband, the late Sir Peter Scott. She is president of the Society for Wildlife Art of the Nations, and in 1990 was elected an honorary member of the British Sub Aqua Club. She accompanied her husband on 26 expeditions from the Arctic to the Antarctic and many places in between, and is actively involved in promoting conservation measures for Antarctica, and for declaring the Southern Ocean a whale sanctuary.
